It was my 3rd time boarding tanker on anchorage since i started working in this new company. I felt a little excited when i was asked to board the vessel the first time. However subsequently, i dread to go onboard cos after every ship visit, i have to write report to everyone in the office as i'm still on training.

What we have to do onboard is to have a meeting with the master, chief engineer / chief mate regarding the next voyage as well as technical problems which they may have encountered onboard so we can do a report back to the office to get solutions.

I think i shldnt complain so much about my work cos everyone will have to go through this learning stage. but i'm feeling afraid and a little stress. i fear that i'm not able to perform up to their expectation cos by nature i am a slow learner.Besides that, many eyes are on me to monitor my performance.. Gone were the days in school where most of the time we were being spoon fed. Office life isnt as easy especially when me and another new comer's training is company first ever "express training". I can say that my mentor is better as compared to another trainee's, however a lot of things i still have to find out myself.

Express training yet have to find things out yourself.Reason being they think this will make you learn better. (i'm racing against time)

I have to work harder and i believe soon this tough period will be over and i can quickly gain experience from problems which i will encounter from the vessel which i will be taking over on next monday.

I pray hard that i will be able to pick up things fast and also able to spot mistakes before i get lectured by various party.

Army half marathon is the first run which i didnt train at all and also its the earliest time i had to flag off at even though i was late by 15 min. So me, momo and his frens started at 5.45am running at own time own target. This wasn’t a good run as it was very tiring and my knee couldnt take it half way through the event. Every km shown on the sign board seemed extremely far as compared to those run i had took part in the past. Nevertheless, i managed to finish the run. However, I guess my knee cap was badly hurt due to this strenuous run. As bad as I cant even bend my knee and I’m still having problem today walking down the stairs. Total of 4 pills of pain killer is not helping at all as its excruciatingly painful. I wonder how its going to be like when i run the full marathon in dec. I think i shld train more for this upcoming marathon.

Afterall, its a sense of achievement! and i'm happy with the medal i gained.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO SINGAPORE! (ok by now shld be belated bday wish)

Outing with mum and sis today and i requested them to wear red with me, haha. We headed down to the temple at Bugis 1st as it was guan yin's bday and the place was very packed as expected. Then, we went to the sort of vegetarian restuarant beside the temple for lunch and mum's fren joined us there. Well, i didnt eat much cos my breakfast have yet to digest. =/
After lunch mum's fren suggested to walk to marina sq. under the hot sun mind u. i wasnt very happy cos i was not in the mood to walk. kinda lazy lately, of cos i cant show it out. shopped for quite ahwile around at MQ and quickly headed home to catch NDP parade. heex.. even though i've watched the preview before.

If i rant a lot about my work, please let me do so. Just treat it as if some irritating person is farting from the mouth. ok, yes i will complain but still, i like my current challenging job . i just need to understand more abt ship operations(a lot to know) and in future, i'll feel better and also get used to the working style.

From now onwards, my knock off timing will be irregular. So if we are going to meet for dinner in the weekdays, i shall apologise in advance as i cant promise the time to meet up after work, cos myself dun even know. So my dear friends, please wait for me patiently ok? I'll try to end work asap.

I saw this pair of Adidas Shoe while window shopping at Iluma this afternoon . and i fell in love with it at the first sight. omg i so want to buy it! Alicia also agree that this is nice. i love it cos of the design, the colour combi and i love the brand! Went Bugis to wait for Poi after work . Poor dumb girl lost her 11b so she went to make a police report before meeting me. Had Dim Sum at Marina Sq for dinner and after that i had this sudden craving for COLD ROCK. all thanks to jeff huh as we were talking abt ice cream last night.

Headed to the flyers first to meet momo and also jeremy and kw there. drank their free Mr bean and eat the free icecream at the NDP participant holding area. After we left, some random army guys passed us another pair of tickets ! so we gave it to bun who was at Jurong Point and she cabbed down to Marina bay. haha!

Kids nowadays are horrible, rude and naughty but yet they are clever. Damn.

Worked with a fun team of ppl from ESN Asia at this particular primary in Bishan for the past few days. Each of us were suppose to bring the group of student that has been appointed to us to play in different station and then, issue sticker after they have completed that particular station.

And lesson learnt- Not to be kind to kids. haha.

Had a long day with Alicia on wed. We met up in the morning for breakfast at Macdonald and after that we headed down to Sentosa. Enter sentosa, 15 mins later, we were out of that island. COS THE SUN WAS NOT STRONG. didnt wanted to waste our money at other area so out we go of sentosa. Then, Alicia suggested to go Hort Park. and yea, we walked from vivo till science park. Crazy photos/Videos taken here and there while walking.. ;D i love taking photos, crazy photos. after the whole afternoon of walking at this some sort of forest(hort park), we headed back to my house as i wanted to shower and change to another set of clothes to meet zy at night for a drink. dinner tgt with alicia at plaza sing and after that zy joined for SECRET RECIPE. OMG. the cheese cake was awsome! YUM! awhile later poi came to pass me something and off me and zy went to have our chit chat session and drink.

after lunch the uncles decided to walk back while the girls took the mini bus. haha.

and after sending her lecturer off, Mizar was very nice to ask me to come out from behind and sit in front! Hoohoo! 1st time sitting in front of a mini bus! seat a bit high for me to climb up ar.. anyway, not much actually, its just like sitting on a van. lol. But i enjoyed the ride.

Had dinner with colleagues just now and after that we headed to a pub in Selegie Rd. FUN ppl to be with in Raffles. And their age ranges from 19 to 40! (*cough*, jooting being the youngest of course.)

I left early cos didnt wanted to stay out too late. BUT THEN, i almost lost my way in Little India! i was ALONE btw. Luckily the Chivas didnt affected me much as i was still very SOBER to find my way to the train station. Phew~ i'm safe and sound typing this post.. haha..

I can still remember last year, i was at the bus stop outside SP when Shuting called. She sounded very happy:

Finally its FRIDAY again! yes yes yes! but my day didnt started off well.. i was slightly later than my usual late and on top of that, i saw this when i reached Hougang station in the morning. Damn it. The train broke down or something.

Didnt wanted to spend my precious money on taxi so i choose to wait. luckily i managed to squeeze into the first train. kiasu-ly skillful. alright. shhh.

When there is purchaser around in office, employees are always well fed.

Therefore after lunch..

Weiling: i hope today supplier wont bring food to our office.

shopping in town with mum and sister, they bought nothing but i got myself a pair of heels and top! woohoo! happy! after that they went for dinner and i met up with poi at Taka. there were cheerleading performance outside ngee ann city so we stop by to watch for awhile. they have the primary and adult cheerleading grps doing their performances.

After that, we walked over to wheelock where she parked her bike and we ride over to the flyers.. we took a few pictures along the way as this time round i have camera with me. haha.. =X

Finally we reached flyers to have our dinner at POPEYE! Yeahh!!! yummy! i love POPEYE!

i was too busy enjoying my meal and didnt know when this cute baby appear beside our table. His maid was feeding him some baby food.

He knows how to High five! haaha.

After the meal we headed down to changi point to support Eunice for her 10km sun down run. along the way there, we passed by those fit ppl running for their 84km ultra marathon run!

Graduation Ceremony 2009
Before going to sch, me and wk went to old airport rd for lunch. Luckily, after lunch we were fast enough not to get caught in the rain as it started to rain cats and dog not long after we got into the car.

We reached school at around 1pm and the whole ceremony ended at around 3.30pm. many ppl were taking photos after the ceremony as we know that that might be the last time we see one another and also might be the last time we step into Singapore Poly- a school which is filled with memories.
Oh ya! Suprisingly I saw my eye candy(not from SMA)! haha... ><>Pasta de Waraku. yummy food. =D

And later in the night, went out with wk again for a spin cos we didnt feel like going home early. in short:
send zy home->ice cream at east coast rd-> pick lyn up-> marina barrage-> geylang soya milk-> changi see plane take off-> changi village-> send lyn home-> home swt home. FULL STOP.

A fun day indeed.

Attended lesson conducted by Capt Sebastian with some colleagues, including Jooting the whole day in office today. Suprisingly, i paid attention through out and wrote 12 pages long of notes! omg i didnt even do that in poly. haha.. interesting lesson and it makes the time to fly faster. Great! tmr gonna have lesson again. haha. that means tmr will seem to end faster then usual working days. heex heex!

i scalded my tongue during lunch and its still hurting now... =(

Passion Run 2009!
This is the very first time i joined a run category alone-15km competitive. Whereas Zhenling and Raymond signed up for the 10km run. So early in the morning i had to take a cab down myself, cos Hkw is running with his family so i neve go with him. Fine, its alright. oh ya, i was woken up twice at night, 1st at 2.12am, my cousin called me to pass her keys (-_-) . 2nd time at 5.15am was wk to ask if i still want a ride to ECP. thanks wk. but i was very sleepy and unwilling to pull myself out of bed by the time when it was 6am.

As usual when i reached there, i went straight to deposit my bag and headed to the starting pt. 5,4,3,2,1 and flagged off. saw kw, called him, and after that he made his way through those gaps and ran off. ok quite fast, faster than me. alright i shall say he was fast. haha! cannot throw NDU's face ma right? As for myself, i shall not say much cos the run was a total disappointment. ='(

Went to Regina's 21st party last sat at a chalet in east coast park( i think its called goldkist) and the dress code was PYJAMAS! so cute!
after the adults have left, we youngsters sat in a huge circle to play some hilarious games which made us laugh our lungs out.

I MISS TALKING TO EMILYN LAU PEI TING OVER THE PHONE! *others pls dun get jealous, i miss you ppl much much too*

Anyway, i dun like my boring job scope which is making my brain even more stupid!i feel sleepy easily when i got nothing to do and on top of that, i cant even surf the net! WTH. I've also started the habit of drinking coffee every morning which is super bad for my health due to anemia. but i got no choice! and also since then, i feel restless to run, yes, contradicting- coffee is suppose to make a person awake, ya it did help in making me more awake but at the same time, it is actually lowering my blood pressure. poor me. argh. but no worries, i believe i'm still a strong girl!

Next i want to say i F**kin' hate JACK. HE is a lousy man! NO! he is not a man at all!!

**listening to some emo pieces of music. well those musics are describing my mood now.**

i almost fainted while walking back home just now. at 1st i thought that there were some serious earthquake somewhere near spore, but no cos i tried to see if the passerbys look unwell, but it seems like they all looked normal except me. i'm not kidding. i tried my best not to fall and paused there for a moment but my head started to spin again and i felt nausea.. ok shall not say much.. not much to say, probably my blood pressure gone down suddenly at that point of time. my anemia?

i think i'm really crazy, despite feeling a little unwell i went for a run. but this time i didnt had energy run much.. ok slap me.

i suddenly feel that i need a lot of ppl to be around me. but i know i cant, cos its time for me to grow up and learn to face things myself. but sometimes its just slightly difficult to do so. hopefully this sat at DblO i can make myself feel better with so many frens around me..

dun think there is something wrong with my health anyway.

** i miss sch.. probably bcos life there was much easier as i have the best classmates in the world and also nice frens around.. all these ppl are helpful and caring. joyful to be mix around with.. sch timing was very flexible (to me cos i sometimes self declare holiday)..

Its mt first day of work at Raffles Shipmanagement today and i was asked to go to International Plaza for a body check up. thus i had urine test, x-ray, colon check and BLOOD TEST! weiling is most afraid of needles! faints. i didnt dare to look or move when the nurse was drawing blood from me. cries.. i almost wanted to cry for mummy that time.. ~~

went back to office after the check up and had lunch with dearest sharon and a few new colleagues and after that i rotted the whole afternoon at my temp desk looking at other people's emails. what made my day even worst was that there was no internet access for me! yucks! i was too bored and had to use my handphone's browser to access to facebook in order to kill some time. haiz.. 1st day of work is usually like that. its alright.. i will have good endurance. i will jia you. i can do it. i will i must i believe i can!!!! argh.

lastly, i finally started driving lesson again after so long but today was my 1st time driving at night! yucks again cos it was difficult to see the white line when i want to do right turning. and i exceeded 70km/hr a few times just now on a normal road. shit.

i'm looking forward to the weekends! and yes i miss sch.

It was SMA Annual Dinner and Dance 2009 last friday and that will be the last event of SMAC which i will be attending, i guess (unless i go crash FO camp this yr haha). sad. time flies.
Ok.. anyway, i brought along my new "tattoo" WD044+ which became the topic of that night.

The EMCEE divided the ballroom into 2 groups and i was sabotaged by my classmates to become the group leader and they choose "WD044+" as our group name. haha.

worked together with Emilyn at Chung Cheng High school for an Anti-smoking thingy. I'm at one of the game stations whereby the students have to do skipping and stuff in order to get a stamp from me. at the end of the event i can conclude that SEC SCH GUYS ARE A BUNCH OF MONKEYS! ARGH! they are so difficult to handle! *they are sec 1 btw*

was too tired after the event and walking under the sun was hurting my skin even more*i got sunburn* so me and lyn decided take a cab to her house and afterwhich we headed to town to meet alvin and zhengyu.

Sunday (1/3/09) SURF & SWEAT 2009

Me and Eunice took part in this event which includes surfing 400m and running 4km. We joined the women double thus she surfed and i ran. AND WE WERE CONNED. it was confirm more than 4km and i heard many saying that it was 6km! Some more i hate to run under the scotching sun as our event were appointed to be at 2.30PM! I had to pour water twice at myself during the run to keep myself cool. But afterall i completed the ran although i'm very unsatisfied with my own timing. =(

and of cos, we kanna sun burned.

Went to Regi's bday party in the evening looking like a lobster. haha.. but it was a good gathering for the ex classmates.
